CREATIVE LEADERSHIP

I work with arts organisations, charities, social enterprises, universities and public and private sector partners to develop and deliver ambitious creative programmes from concept through to completion. My practice combines creative thinking with strong organisational leadership, enabling me to oversee every stage of a project, from grant development and programme design to budget management, artist recruitment, partnership building, delivery and evaluation. I am particularly interested in projects that bring together contemporary visual arts with meaningful public engagement, creating opportunities for organisations and communities to work collaboratively towards shared outcomes. 

Before moving into the arts, I spent ten years in the water treatment industry managing national business units with responsibility for multi million pound budgets, strategic planning and teams of over thirty staff. This experience gave me a strong foundation in leadership, governance and operational management, which now complements my work in the cultural sector. Whether leading a funded programme, curating an exhibition, commissioning artists or developing partnerships across sectors, I bring the same level of accountability, organisation and care to every project. My aim is to help organisations deliver high-quality creative programmes that are both artistically ambitious and operationally robust.
